Take a historical journey through some of the beautiful rooms within Balmoral Castle.

Our experienced guides will explain about the origins of the Castle and how it has been loved by generations of the Royal Family; from the purchase of the Balmoral Estate by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, through to the present day, where rooms within the Castle are used today by Their Majesties The King and Queen and members of the Royal Family.

Due to the proportions of the Castle interiors, there are a limited number of tickets available.

Then complete your visit with Afternoon Tea in our exclusive dining area. Enjoy your Afternoon Tea served on bone china, an exact replica of the setting used by the Royal Family from inside Balmoral Castle. 

The menu for 2026, presented by our award-winning chef and his talented team, comprises delicious fayre from the Estate, and other locally sourced produce.

Vegetarian and gluten free options are available on request. Unfortunately we cannot cater for dairy or lactose free menus.
